First time at this restaurant. Food was lukewarm, portions small for the amount of money paid, and tasted very bland. Service was okay. Won't be back.

First time eating at a Thai restaurant. Didn't know what to think going into it. But let me tell you I was blown away! I had the pineapple fried rice and it was delicious. Tons of flavor and nothing was dry. The theme of the restaurant is very peaceful and quiet. Wait staff was very friendly and super helpful. My real rating would be a 7/5. They went above and beyond what I had expected!

I have lived in Hickory for over 4 years and this is my first time dining here. I am very impressed with the restaurant. The food was outstanding. This will definitely not be our last visit. If you like subtle nuances of flavor, you will really appreciate their offerings.

I absolutely love the Pad Thai here. You definitely can not find it anywhere else. I've had almost all the dishes here and they are amazing! The owners are such friendly and welcoming people. A definite must try.

Best Thai in Hickory by far!

Prompt, friendly service. Their *mild* spice level was TOO spicy for me, which made it hard to fully enjoy. However, the taste was so incredibly good, that I pushed through and finished nearly all of it...albeit with lots of water! 😉🖒

Delicious food! Loved the jasmine sweet tea! Loved the option of adding tofu to pretty much anything! And the mango coconut sticky rice was to die for! Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there is no sushi on menu.

Pleasant family-owned restaurant with friendly service and a variety of food choices. I had the Evil Jungle Princess, my wife had the Spicy Garlic dish and the kids shared the Phad Thai. Our orders arrived quickly exactly as we ordered. The food was very good and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. The restaurant is never totally crowded though it can get busy at times. This is a wonderful place for a quick meal though it is not fast food

Of all the Thai restaurants in Hickory I find this one to have the tastiest and most authentic curry. If you order hot spicy level it actually will be.

Authenticity is superb. You all like this place. I had pad woon seen this time it's mouth watering. Ambience is charming.

This is a great place for Thai food. Large menu to choose from. The food comes out super hot and fresh. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Fast service. Clean restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by this place. Affordable pricing as well. The bathrooms are in need of some repair. We will definitely be back.

I have passed this place on several occasions without entering. Because of my lady I decided to try it out. To my surprise I was very pleasant. I urge people to try it.

They offer a variety of dishes, and our orders have always been of the highest quality. The restaurant is clean, and the service is speedy. Prepare to be amazed.

Best Asian food in Hickory...love the Pepper Steak

The food here is great. When you ask for hot you get it! To me, you don't have good Thai food unless your nose is running. This place achieves that and more. If you're not much for spicy food, try the chicken satay or masaman curry. The Tom Ka soup is amazing and also not spicy. We always end our meal with a cooling fried icecream. It helps to calm the palate after all of the wonderful spices. The Thai Lotus is a wonderful hidden gem!

Thai Lotus has the best Thai around. A clean restaurant with free Wifi, my family and I visit regularly. They are right behind the McDonalds. Ask for the Thai Tea!

1st time there...food was outstanding. Crunchy roll appetizers were delicious. I ordered the Thai Lotus fried rice with pork, and I couldn't stop eating it. I ordered it "Thai hot," but to be honest it was less heat than expected. Gradual build of heat, yet never detracted from the flavor of the food. My wife ordered the Thai chicken that was also excellent. We will certainly be back.

This was my first visit. The food was hot (temperature) which is good, but not a lot of flavor. The service was quick and friendly. But they charged me more than the menu price for the lunch special. So check your bill carefully. Conclusion: I would come back if a group wanted to, but I would not recommend it or choose it on my own.

This was really more like a 3.5 stars but I'm rounding it up due to some pretty bad Thai places in Hickory. I had take out and the service/speed was good. The food was just ok. I had pork green curry, the curry was very good but the pork was cheap and rubbery. May try again....

We like to go here and Mekvilai. Can't say which food is any better because both places the food is fantastic but Thai Lotus you do get more food for the $$$, staff is great as well. We will be here today for our anniversary, (39yrs).We went for supper, food was great, service too. Try this place out when you can, you won't regret it.

I’ve lived in Thailand, love Pad Thai, but hate to say this is the worst I’ve ever eaten.. asked for medium “Pet” hot, was SUPER hot! Noodles were very very dry, chicken dry, seemed to be reheated, no flavor other than hot!! Sad ! Want GOOD authentic Thai food please!

Very friendly owner. True Thai food prepared by a true Thai chef. Try the spring rolls. The pad Thai is delicious. Ask for a spice tray and try the house made dried peppers (if you like spicy). Curry is outstanding....love the panang. We have enjoyed everything we have tried on the menu.
